Army Chief Acknowledges Strategic Unity During Marka-e-Haq
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed deep appreciation for the political leadership’s strategic foresight during Marka-e-Haq, and praised the flawless inter-services coordination that led to operational success in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Addressing a dinner he hosted in honour of the country’s political leadership, armed forces, and resilient citizens, Field Marshal Munir underscored the importance of unity and shared purpose. He commended the armed forces’ steadfast commitment and lauded the indomitable spirit of the Pakistani people during a critical phase of the nation’s history.

Youth and Media Praised for Defending Against Indian Disinformation
The COAS highlighted the vital role of Pakistani youth and media in countering India’s disinformation campaign, calling them a “steel wall” against foreign propaganda. He also paid tribute to the nation’s scientists, engineers, and diplomats for their critical contributions during the conflict.
Distinguished Guests Reaffirm National Strength
The dinner was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Senate Chairman, National Assembly Speaker, federal ministers, governors, chief ministers, and senior leaders of major political parties. Also in attendance were Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza, services chiefs, and top government officials.
Participants praised the leadership that guided the nation through a defining moment, saluted the courage of the armed forces, and celebrated the patriotic unity of the people of Pakistan.
